Attached is the latest report from Geotechnical Testing Services. In summary, minor movement (less than 1/4") is noted on the south end of the berm next to the hotel property and restaurant. Otherwise the majority of the berm appears to be stable. The design report necessary for constructing the final version 1.5 of the berm is expected "by year end " (hopefully this year). While the city conducts a peer review of the report, we will seek construction bids and will work with the three affected property owners who will need to agree to share the construction costs and grant any easements that may be required. With respect to the condos, we are being told by the engineers that Building L will most likely need to be demolished, while Building M may possibly be saved, leveled and repaired. This is subject to approvals and financial feasibility. We will have more information when the next report is issued.
